£2,282.00. I can officially confirm receipt of this.
When Jessie May nurses visit a family, they take over the complete care of the child, this means the
parents who are caring for their child 24/7 can take a break – that is a priceless gift. The parents can
enjoy some much needed downtime, this might mean they get some one on one time with a sibling,
get some much needed sleep or go out and do some shopping. Without their Jessie May nurse, none
of these things would be possible and you have helped to make that happen.
People hear the words “palliative care” and think it’s all doom and gloom. That’s not what the reality
is like. Our Nurses have an extraordinary job, the majority of their time spent visiting and having fun
with great children, encouraging them in achieving the best of their ability and celebrating the small
wins along the way. Our families are going through the hardest times but we are there with them
because people like you support us.
So from all of our nurses, families and the rest of the Jessie May team – thank you! It really does
