Did you know There are over 250,000 Freemasons in the UK and circa 6,000,000 worldwide; you can never be alone with Freemasonry at your side.
Freemasons Lodges vary from themed lodges such as Military, Emergency Services, Education, or Law/Medical to those catering towards social activities hobbies or sport.
However, a majority of Lodges are for those wishing to find likeminded people from walks of life other than their everyday or past experiences; Priory Lodge no 6913 offers such a Lodge built on friendship, mutual respect and support of one another whilst offering the same opportunity to sample the benefits of other Lodges across the globe which have their own distinct traditions and ceremonial peculiarities.
Priory Lodge members meet at Keynsham Masonic Hall which is conveniently sited between Bristol, Bath and Wells on the second Friday of each month, October to May, followed by an formal meal where fellow Masons from visiting Lodges share our festive board together with established traditions and friendly repartee.
Members also meet midweek during the Lodge’s active period with a view to enhance their knowledge into Masonry and to enjoy as friends a social drink and modest meal at a local hostelry.
The Lodge also benefits from an annual black tie Ladies Night event held in November which provides the chance of a relaxing weekend break away in the company of other members and their partners whilst enjoying a celebratory evening of dinning and dance.
Also held during the course of the masonic year, members engage in a variety of social activities with a view to building lasting relationships with their families and friends
