“Dear WBro Dredge, Installation Meeting Priory Lodge No. 6913 I am writing to thank your Worshipful Master and the members of your lodge for the very warm welcome you gave me and members of the provincial team on the occasion of your Installation Meeting. What a super evening and festive board so obviously enjoyed by all in attendance. It was a pleasure to see how many attended and to witness an excellently delivered ceremony. The lodge seems to be in a good place with many signs of recovery very much in evidence.

Those that delivered the working tools are to be congratulated, Bro Julian Hare in particular demonstrating an excellent, confident style of presentation. Your SW, Mentor and Membership Officer W.Bro Paul Marshall is also very worthy of recognition with three candidates for initiation and two joining members proposed.John certainly has a great team to support him, with succession planning very much in evidence. Do please pass on my congratulations to all that took part, and in particular to your DC who coordinated proceedings so well on what was, for many of us, the first meeting where mandatory Covid measures were in place. On a personal note please accept my thanks for all of the preparation and arrangements you made for my attendance at the meeting, which have been very helpful – 14 of 23 members present, but with 47 visitors it shows that quality not quantity in membership terms certainly pays off!

Please also pass on my thanks, those of my DC W.Bro Jon Mansell and of my driver W.Bro Richard Lyons to W.Bro. John and all the members of the lodge for the hospitality at your festive board. It was a grand occasion. In particular the way that W.Bro Andrew Wells proposed the toast to the Province was worthy of note. We all look forward to hearing of continued success of Priory Lodge in the future and visiting soon once again. With very kind, sincere and fraternal regards Ben

What a wonderful letter, thank you VW Bro Batley.
