On Thursday 1st November ten past masters attended Keynsham Masonic Hall where WBro George Pittaway presented his year in the Chair of King Soloman starting from our December Installation meeting on Friday 8th December. The year ahead looks exciting for Priory Lodge 6913 with APGM Tony Guthrie as the Installing Master and the PGM RW Ray Guthrie attending and presenting the Past Master’s Jewel as well. In 2024 we have our Family Robert Burns dinner and white table evening in January, then a number of ceremonies thereafter throughout the year on lodge nights, plus our second Platinum 75th Anniversary. Events for the year 2024 include a visit to London where WBro George Pittaway will visit his mother lodge, a boat trip with refreshments along the River Avon and events to promote Freemasonry in Keynsham.
Following the meeting, Brethren attended The Bird in Hand pub in Salford for a delicious meal, drinks and a social get together where everyone had a wonderful time and with PGM RW Ray Guthrie joining us all.
We are now taking bookings for our Installation meeting and everyone is welcome, it will be nice to have 75 people at the festive board to start off our 75th Masonic year. Please email our dining steward at bookyourmeal@keynshamfreemasons.co.uk and reserve your space.
The cost is just £16 for five courses including:
1) Smooth chicken liver pâté with salad & toast.
2) Turkey and stuffing with seasonal vegetables and Yorkshire pudding with gravy.

4) Selection of cheeses and biscuits.
5) Tea or coffee, with mints.
