Our October 13th meeting welcomed 44 Brethren, we received The Somerset Freemasons Travelling Trowel from Gerard Lodge No 8999 and MW Bro Stuart Hadler of Gerard Lodge also very kindly presented two new master masons with their UGLE Grand Lodge Certificates. The evening was a presentation and play about joining Somerset Grand Chapter Royal Arch Home – Provincial Grand Chapter of Somerset – Somerset Royal Arch which even for existing Chapter members was enjoyable and very interesting.
Regular members from various lodges supported our evening, several from Vale of Brislington Lodge, a number of rulers of other lodges and the light blues Somerset Pirates which made their own table of 8 and said they will return time again in to the future.
At the festive board we all enjoyed the famous Keynsham Masonic hall unlimited hot and cold buffet and we raised £227 for the Masters chosen charity.
Our next merry meeting with be Installation of WBro George Pittaway on Friday 8th December and everyone is welcome.
