On the 7th April 2022 members of Priory Lodge attended the Province of Somerset AGM at the Webbington Hotel to support not only the provincial team with the PGM David Medlock but also W Bro Tony Guthrie our lodge Charity Steward who was appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Master and WBro Andrew Purchase our lodge Treasurer who received his first Provincial Appointment To Provincial Grand Steward. We congratulate them and look forward to supporting them both in the years ahead. 11 members of Priory Lodge attended and had a wonderful afternoon and we wish all those who received an honour this year a wonderful Masonic adventure visiting other lodges and supporting the province.
WBro Richard Dredge also stepped down from the role of Provincial Social Media Officer after 7 years in the role and after helping Somerset Freemasons get Facebook and Twitter to where it is today with Richard setting up the Twitter account and being there from the beginning with Facebook Page as well. Now our new joining member Bro Shayan Aziz who is also a member of Lodge of Honour meeting in Bath and like Richard Dredge who is a member of Royal Somerset Lodge meeting in Frome, they both bring lots of friends to Priory Lodge and now Shayan has taken on the role of Provincial Social Media Officer after being a very active member of the Provincial Web Team and helping W Bro Dredge in the role throughout Covid and especially when social media played a very important role in Freemasonry. Well done Brethren.
